Topic of the workshop

Learn helpful and practical meditations to cultivate a balanced and a peaceful mind. So much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind, and many of the problems we experience, including ill health, are caused or aggravated by this stress. The real path to wellbeing lies in healing both body and mind. It may feel as if our lives are stuck, but we can change things. Why? Because the way we experience the world depends entirely on our state of mind. Heal your mind from negative energy and create positive energy within by relying upon meditation and wisdom-based purification practices.

The workshop consists of guided meditations and clear explanations, as well as an opportunity to ask questions. Classes are suitable for both absolute beginners and experienced meditators.

General Info

In our Workshops we offer practical buddhist wisdom for everyone – with the purpose of solving our daily problems, do gain a better understanding of ourself, to grow personally and spiritually and to become happier.

The workshop consists of two sessions:
10-11.15 am: session 1
11.15-11.45: break
11.45 am – 1 pm: session 2

During break we offer tea, coffee and small snacks, and there is time to aks questions.
You can choose if you want to meditate sitting on cushions or chairs. You do not need any special clothes, but it may be a good idea to bring a pen and paper for taking notes.

Teacher

Sandra Lacueva teaches our Meditation Class on Fridays and workshops in English.
She met Kadam Dharma in South Africa in 2010 and lived at the Kadampa Buddhist Temple in Portugal for two years. Now she works at a bank in Frankfurt.
